COVID-19: FG Reveals Decision On Imposing Another Lockdown


The federal government has opened up on whether it will impose another lockdown or not.

The Federal Government has said there is no plan to impose another lockdown, despite the increase in COVID-19 cases in the country.
 
Chairman of the Presidential Task Force (PTF), Boss Mustapha, stated this on Thursday, during the daily media briefing.
 
Mustapha was asked if the government was looking to shut down the country again, in a bid to flatten the curve of the pandemic.

“To go back to a total lockdown must be taken in the context of what we desire to achieve after we’ve lockdown for about five weeks and seen how we fared.

“So the issue of review might not have that in contemplation because you can’t move forward and begin to move backward again,” he replied.
 
As at today, a total of 13,873 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Nigeria.
 
4,351 patients have been discharged and 382 deaths recorded.

Police woman's 'sexy rendezvous' arouses debate on social media

Authorities are investigating how pictures of a police woman undressing were taken and shared on social media. In the pictures shared on Facebook, the woman is seen sitting on a sofa with a cellphone in one hand and what looks like a glass of alcohol in the other. Another picture then shows the woman with the glass closer to her mouth while the last two pictures show her undressing, even revealing her panties. In the pictures, the woman seems to be aware in the first picture that someone was taking the pictures as she smiles in the direction of the camera.
